1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of The Apex website and to your visit to our premises on Beyers Naudé Drive, Northcliff, Johannesburg. By using the site or entering the premises you accept them.

2. Information on this site

We work to keep details accurate, but opening dates, trading hours, businesses on site, events and imagery may change. Some photography on the site is placeholder imagery shown while the building is being completed and does not represent the finished premises. Nothing on this site is an offer or a guarantee of availability.

3. The businesses on site

Each business at The Apex is independently owned and operated. They are responsible for their own products, services, pricing, trading hours, bookings and customer agreements. Any contract you enter into is with that business, not with The Apex, and we are not liable for their goods or services.

4. Visiting and parking

Secure on-site parking is provided. Vehicles and their contents are left at your own risk, and parking is subject to available space and to any on-site rules or signage. Please follow the instructions of staff and security at all times. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone behaving unsafely or unlawfully.

Driving on the premises must be slow and considerate. Behaviour such as revving, wheel spin, burnouts or racing is not permitted anywhere on site.

5. Events

Events may be free or ticketed and may be run by us or by a business on site. Event details, dates and times can change or be cancelled, including for weather or safety reasons. Where an event is booked through a third party, that party's terms and refund rules apply.

Photography and filming may take place at events for promotional use. If you would prefer not to appear, please let a member of staff know.

6. Enquiries and the member portal

Please send accurate information through our enquiry form and do not use it for unlawful, abusive or promotional messages. Businesses given access to the member portal must keep their login details private, publish only content they have the right to use, and keep their listing accurate. We may suspend access where these terms are not met.

7. Our content

The Apex name, logo, site design and content belong to us or to our members and may not be copied or reused without permission. Member logos and images remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this website, from reliance on information published here, or from loss or damage to vehicles or property on the premises, except where caused by our gross negligence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
